Nathan Gittner
Nathan Gittner is Director of Consulting Activities in Strategy and Human Capital at Silverton Bank. He has experience in creating and implementing strategic plans for community financial institutions and has started a captive insurance company to satisfy the insurance needs of financial institutions. Mr. Gittner has worked with the finance organizations of many Fortune 500 companies and has developed domestic and international strategic plans for companies that align their people, processes and technology with a single vision. Prior to joining Silverton Bank, he was a manager at Accenture’s Finance and Performance Management Service line. Mr. Gittner is a graduate of North Carolina State University and holds a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is also a graduate of The Accenture Center for Professional Studies and a guest lecturer at Georgia State University.
Derrick Harris
Derrick Harris is First Vice President and Senior Consultant in the Consulting Division of Silverton Bank where he leads the Human Resource Advisory Services practice. With over 15 years in human resources and consulting, Mr. Harris has worked with a wide range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to small not-for-profit organizations. He specializes in designing and implementing HR service delivery models that are tied to and complement an organization’s business goals and strategy. Prior to joining Silverton Bank, Mr. Harris started and managed The Human Resource Department– Atlanta, an Atlanta-based full service HR consulting and staffing company. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant in the Human Resource Effectiveness Practice at Hewitt Associates LLC. Mr. Harris holds an MBA from Emory University, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Columbia University.
David Dickey
David Dickey is a Vice President in the Consulting Group of Silverton Bank. David’s primary focus is Strategic Planning, where he assists in creating and implementing strategic plans for community financial institutions. Mr. Dickey has significant Consulting and Industry experience, including Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Credit Administration, Loan Operations, and Retail Banking. During his consulting career at K.P.M.G. he assisted several top 10 U.S. Financial Institutions in a broad range of projects including M&A risk management, strategic process design, project management, peer bank analysis, and technology implementation. Mr. Dickey is a magna cum laude graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management and Certificate of Finance. He is a graduate of the SunTrust Commercial Banking Training Program and a registered Project Management Professional (P.M.P.) with the Project Management Institute.
Anthony Burnette
Anthony Burnette is a First Vice President in the Consulting Division of Silverton Bank and leads Silverton’s Strategic Branching Practice. Anthony specializes in devising long-term geographic expansion plans for banks as well as quantifying the financial impact these decisions will have on the institution. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a major in Real Estate. Before joining the bank, Anthony had over six years of consulting experience with The Walker Companies, an industrial site selection firm headquartered in Atlanta. He has significant experience in all aspects of a corporate site selection project including analyses of operating environments, labor resources, and incentive negotiations.
David Jones
David Jones is Senior Vice President and Principal in the Consulting Division of Silverton Bank, where he leads the Executive Compensation consulting practice. With over 25 years experience, Mr. Jones has served on a variety of community bank organizations, addressing the particular needs of SEC-reporting, privately-held, S-corp. and De Novo banks. He specializes in the evaluation, design, and implementation of all aspects of executive and outside director compensation programs. Mr. Jones is frequently retained to evaluate the appropriateness of executive compensation and equity arrangements in light of business performance and returns to shareholders. Previously, David was a Principal in the executive compensation consulting practice of Mercer Human Resource Consulting, and VP and Principal with Mathews, Young & Assoc. A cum laude graduate of Davidson College, David holds an MBA from Duke University. He is a member of WorldatWork and has held accreditation as a Certified Compensation Professional since 1983.
Michael W. Marzette
Michael W. Marzette is a Vice President and Consultant in the Consulting Division of Silverton Bank. Mr. Marzette specializes in executive and director compensation and frequently conducts competitive reviews of bank compensation levels and performance versus comparable community banks. Mr. Marzette has conducted a wide array of engagements for community banks including market analysis of executive pay; outside director compensation analysis; design of short and long term incentive plans; and development of salary administration systems for the entire bank workforce. Mr. Marzette is a graduate of Pace University in New York City with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance. Prior to joining Silverton Bank, Mr. Marzette was a Compensation Analyst with the University of Alabama at Birmingham. There he conducted salary & position analysis for the University Health System and the School of Medicine. Mr. Marzette spent 4 years as Budget Manager of JMW Consultants and also worked for Axcan Pharma as Financial Analyst for Sales Incentives.
